About the event
LC-MS is a powerful tool for the detection of residual chemical compounds, identification and quantification of small organic molecules, and confirmation and quantitation of contaminants and adulterants in pharmaceutical and food samples. The training session specifically focus on sample preparation, extraction, and the data analysis in the identification of nutraceuticals from plants using LC- MS.
The session will be facilitated by Dr Edwin Ntakadzeni Madala from the University of Venda. The session will me a mix of pre-recorded visuals for demonstrative purposes and live clarifications. These will be followed by a Q&A session and discussions on LC-MS and other related issues.
This session is intended to introduce LC-MS to those with limited experience, some exposure. The session will also be a forum to address any issues that experienced users may also have.
